QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in Spanish
- Minimum of an Associates’ degree or High School diploma and relevant industry experience.
- Prior experience as a teacher or paraprofessional, strongly preferred.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, a genuine interest in working with young people in a rich multicultural environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

Vice-principal of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helps or carry out lesson plans, modify instructional materials based upon the directions provided by the vocational, or general education teacher.
- Uses strategies, equipment, materials, and technologies, as directed by accommodation plans to accomplish instructional objectives.
- Assists in adapting and implementing instructional strategies and materials as directed by the Individualized Learning Plan.
- Uses strategies as directed to facilitate effective integration into various settings.
- Uses strategies that promote the learner’s independence, as directed.
- Follows instructions of vocational teacher, ELE Director, general education teacher, and administrators and supervisors.
- Acts as a role model for students
- Demonstrates commitment to assisting learners in achieving their highest potential.
- Communicate/interpret/translate to support families (phone calls and meetings) who speak Spanish/Portuguese to assist in the Translation Center
- All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
EVALUATION:
The High School Principal or Designee will evaluate the performance of this position.
